The Fazer Experience Visitor Center achieved a new visitor record in 2023

In 2023, the Fazer Experience Visitor Center set a new milestone: it recorded a record 238,000 visitors. At the same time, customer satisfaction rose to an unprecedented level. The success is due to the unique experience and the Finnish passion for leisure activities, which is reflected in the positive feedback from visitors to this versatile destination in Vaarala, Vantaa.

The personal service offered to visitors and the continuous improvement of the visitor center make Fazer a highly recommended destination, which is expected to have another record year.

The visitor center offers a distinctive mix of multimedia exhibitions, Fazer Café, a store, conference services and various events such as cooking schools and children's birthday parties.

Since its opening in 2016, the Fazer Experience Visitor Center is expected to reach a total of 1.5 million visitors by spring 2024. Fazer has been opening its doors to visitors for over 60 years.

Impressive exhibition tours with Fazer guides

The heart of the visitor center is the exhibition tour, where guides take visitors on a one-hour journey through the rich history of Fazer and the food value chain. It covers the fascinating journey of grain from the field to the bakery, where it is turned into bread.

Rising visitor numbers reflect the need for community

Fazer interprets the increase in visitor numbers not as a mere return to pre-pandemic levels, but as an expression of the growing desire for communal experiences.

The need for personal encounters between corporate customers, clubs, families and friends was met with popular activities such as chocolate art workshops and chocolate and wine tastings for adults.

Fazer's commitment to versatility

The Fazer Experience Visitor Center is an outstanding destination in Finland where visitors can experience Fazer with all their senses, reflect on the impact of their food choices and explore the future of food.

Key attractions include the indoor tropical garden, a giant mignon rabbit, the Globe 2030 (showing the earth from the moon) and an herb wall illustrating sustainable practices. The center showcases the impact of the seasons, consumer trends and Fazer's 130-year history, while emphasizing respect for craftsmanship.

In celebration of Fazer Kismet's 50th anniversary, the visitor center celebrates this beloved brand with a packaging display in the lobby and other special displays.
