New Arctic travel product from Hurtigruten

New winter itinerary for the 2026/27 season

Hurtigruten is expanding its winter portfolio for 2026/27 with a new six-day itinerary combining Svalbard and a Coastal Express voyage along the Norwegian coast. The new product links a stay in Longyearbyen with a sailing from Tromsø to Kirkenes and is now available to book.

New opportunities for Arctic programs

For tour operators, the new itinerary offers an attractive addition to Arctic winter programs. Travelers can experience both the unique landscapes of Svalbard and the spectacular coastline of Northern Norway, with winter activities and excellent opportunities to see the Northern Lights away from major sources of light pollution.

Available now

The itinerary will operate between December 2026 and March 2027 and includes hotel accommodation, the domestic flight from Svalbard to Tromsø, the Coastal Express voyage and selected activities.

With this new product, Hurtigruten expands its range of compact Arctic experiences for travelers looking to discover more of Northern Norway in a single trip.
