Mövenpick brings a new era of luxury, culinary delights and sustainability to Tallinn

The first Mövenpick hotel in the Baltic region has opened its doors, ushering in a new era of Swiss hospitality in the Estonian market.

Previously known as L'Embitu Hotel, the hotel on Lembitu Street in Tallinn was celebrated for its elegant design and prime location. Earlier this year, Accor unveiled the launch of the Mövenpick brand in Estonia, where it will operate as Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn. This new property promises enhanced service, unique guest experiences and the opportunity to enjoy the finer things in life. The brand has plans for further expansion in the region to strengthen its global hotel portfolio.

The hotel is under the management of Duco Hotels, which recently took over the operation of L'Embitu Hotel Tallinn and L'Ermitage Hotel Tallinn, and has been running ibis Tallinn Center since 2019.

Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn is an oasis of simple pleasures, whether it is restful sleep, delicious cuisine or relaxation. The newly remodelled hotel offers 125 modern, well-designed guest rooms with spacious and comfortable beds, some even with a terrace or private sauna. Guests can pamper themselves in the extensive spa facilities, which include a 12-metre pool with hydro-massage, a Japanese pool, a cold water pool, a steam sauna and a Finnish sauna.

Culinary excellence is at the heart of Mövenpick, and the new hotel invites guests to enjoy a year-round menu in the ROOF restaurant, which offers a mix of Mediterranean cuisine and signature Mövenpick dishes. In addition, a wine and tapas bar in the basement offers a selection of light snacks and drinks by a cosy fireplace for a memorable dining experience.

Guests are encouraged to participate in the daily Mövenpick Chocolate Hour in the lobby, a delicious opportunity to sample chocolate desserts and enjoy daily indulgences the Swiss way. The Chocolate Hour is an imaginative chocolate experience that takes place every day in the lobby of every Mövenpick hotel, embodying the brand's heritage and Swiss origins.

Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn also caters to business travellers and event planners with a special conference and event centre on the top floor of the building, offering panoramic views of Lembitu Park and the city. The centre has three halls with a total capacity of up to 220 people.

Mövenpick is committed to sustainability and reduces its environmental impact through a range of eco-friendly solutions and initiatives. Mövenpick Hotel Tallinn has eliminated all single-use plastic items for guests and is actively pursuing Green Globe certification.
