The International Tourism Exchange ITB promises exciting innovations and diversity for 2024
ITB Berlin 2024 promises to be bigger, more diverse and more stimulating than ever before. Messe Berlin plans to open five additional halls, resulting in a clear growth in exhibitors.
Following the closing date for registrations in September, contracts will be concluded and locations allocated in October and November. European destinations, MICE and business travel suppliers will be represented in the new Halls 8.2, 10.2 and 11.2. Hall 10.1 will be dedicated to the growing travel-tech segment, and Hall 18 will once again host the Nordics and the Baltics.
A special innovation is the use of Hub 27 as the umbrella hall for the DACH market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). This hall will also showcase Slovenia and part of the cruise exhibition area will be docked here, while the majority will be housed in Hall 25.
The diversity of ITB will become even more colourful with the guest country Oman, and there will be even more exchanges on topics such as digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability and the travel requirements of generations Z and Alpha.
