Hôtel Reisen becomes first Hyatt hotel in Scandinavia

Hôtel Reisen, centrally located in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, has been upgraded to a 5-star hotel and opened its doors as part of the exclusive international Hyatt hotel chain on 1 October.

In 2020, the owners of Host Hoteleiendom signed an agreement to add Hôtel Reisen to Hyatt's exclusive hotel portfolio, the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

To become part of Hyatt's Unbound Collection, high standards are set in terms of quality, atmosphere and uniqueness - all of which Hôtel Reisen now fulfils. The hotel has been completely renovated and has 144 newly refurbished rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a spa area. From 1 October, Hôtel Reisen will become the first Hyatt hotel in Scandinavia and one of eight carefully selected hotels in Europe in the Unbound portfolio.
