Finnair expands summer flights to Lapland

Extended flight options with Finnair to Kuusamo, Ivalo, Kittilä and Rovaniemi in summer 2024

Finnair has announced that for the coming summer season it is expanding its flight services from Helsinki Airport to various destinations in Lapland. With improved connections to Kuusamo, Ivalo, Kittilä and Rovaniemi, travelers can immerse themselves in Lapland's diverse summer tourism offerings.

Kuusamo, known for its pristine Oulanka and Salla national parks, will be accessible up to seven times a week thanks to Finnair. In particular, the picturesque Karhunkierros hiking trail, Finland's most famous hiking trail, awaits adventurers.
Finnair will also offer daily flights to Ivalo, giving travelers ample opportunity to explore Saariselkä, for example, and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the sandy beaches along the Ivalo River.
The Helsinki - Kittilä route will be served by nine flights a week. Finnair offers easy access to exciting adventures in Finland's renowned resorts. Ylläs, with its 190 kilometers of mountain bike trails, promises exciting outdoor experiences. There are daily flights to Rovaniemi. In July, up to 34 flights per week are available. Norwegian also offers flights to Rovaniemi, ensuring a seamless connection to the lively capital of Lapland.
