Edelweiss expands winter flights to Finland and Norway

From Zurich to Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway in winter

The Swiss airline Edelweiss Air is expanding its flight services to Finland and Norway. With the addition of new direct connections, Edelweiss now flies to all Finavia Lapland airports from Zurich. Evenes in northern Norway will also be offered as a direct flight.

  • Extended season to Ivalo and Kuusamo
  • New flights to Kittilä and Rovaniemi
  • Evenes/Lofoten now also in winter

Following the launch last winter, Edelweiss is extending the season to Finnish Lapland in the 2024/2025 winter timetable. Kuusamo and Ivalo will now be served from mid-December until the beginning/ end of March. Kuusamo will be served on Fridays, Ivalo even twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

New are the scheduled flights with Edelweiss to Kittilä and Rovaniemi, both destinations are served twice a week from mid-December to the end of March. There will be flights to Kittilä on Monday and Wednesday and to Rovaniemi on Monday and Thursday. In addition, Edelweiss will continue to operate a charter flight to Kittilä and Rovaniemi every Saturday on behalf of Kontiki Reisen.

Flights to Evenes are also new to the winter timetable. Flights to northern Norway depart every Saturday from mid-December to the end of March.

The additional flights can be booked on all channels from Thursday, 9 May 2024.
