Edelweiss Air AG extends flight connection from Zurich to Kuusamo

To meet the growing demand for winter getaways, Edelweiss Air AG has announced the extension of its flight series from Zurich to Kuusamo, Finland, for the upcoming winter season. The expanded flight schedule, running from December 13, 2024, to March 7, 2025, will offer up to two flights per week, providing travelers with more opportunities to experience the enchanting beauty of the Ruka-Kuusamo region.

Kuusamo, renowned as the Finnish winter dream, offers visitors a magical experience amidst snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and an atmosphere of serene tranquility. Winter enthusiasts can indulge in the renowned Ruka ski resort, which boasts abundant skiing and snowboarding opportunities. For those seeking a more leisurely exploration, the untouched Oulanka National Park awaits, offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing adventures. Adventurous souls can embark on thrilling snowmobile tours, ice fishing excursions, husky sledding, or reindeer safaris, immersing themselves in the authentic Lapland experience.

As an added convenience, the flight fare includes the transport of sports equipment such as ski, cross-country, or snowboard gear. Flights between Zurich and Kuusamo are currently open for booking from December 2024 to March 2025.
