Tech-powered hospitality provider secures first Swedish property, set to open in 2025

Bob W, the innovative hospitality company known for its tech-driven approach, has signed a lease for its inaugural property in Stockholm, Sweden, marking a significant milestone in its European expansion. With this move, Bob W now has a presence in all four Nordic capital cities.

Prime location in Stockholm city centre

The seven-storey building, previously a hotel, is located in the heart of Stockholm’s bustling Norrmalm district. Its strategic position offers guests easy access to cultural landmarks, dining, entertainment, and a central business hub filled with tech companies and offices. The property is also conveniently located near a Metro station, ensuring seamless travel throughout the city.

Bob W has partnered with Swedish landlord Altira to convert the property into a state-of-the-art hospitality space. The refurbishment, set to be completed by summer 2025, will be led by Stockholm-based Note Design Studio, known for its award-winning, sustainable designs. The collaboration aims to create a unique, locally inspired environment while maintaining Bob W's eco-conscious, tech-powered philosophy.

Bob W's flexible hospitality concept

The new Bob W in Stockholm will cater to the modern traveler, offering a combination of studio and one-bedroom apartments with kitchens, designed for both short and long stays. Guests will enjoy the consistency of hotel amenities, the comfort of a home, and the flexibility to work or relax in a well-equipped, sustainable environment. The property will be supported by an app that provides easy check-in, check-out options, and access to a virtual concierge for local recommendations.

Strategic expansion in the Nordic market

Niko Karstikko, Co-founder of Bob W, expressed excitement about entering the Swedish market, stating, “Stockholm is a key part of our growth strategy, and this expansion further solidifies our leadership in the Nordic region.” Bob W’s success is reflected in its impressive Net Promoter Score of 77 and an average guest rating of 4.7 stars.

Bob W plans to continue expanding across Sweden and beyond, with the Stockholm location marking a significant step in its mission to revolutionize the hospitality experience.
