Finland opens 19 new routes this winter

Already on 30 and 31 October, five new routes were opened for Helsinki, Rovaniemi and Turku airports. Finavia announced that another 14 new routes will follow for the winter.

There is a new direct flight from Helsinki Airport to Tokyo Haneda with Finnair. SAS is reopening the Turku - Stockholm route.

Ryanair flies from Dublin, London Stansted and Brussels Charleroi to Rovaniemi. Later in the season, Easyjet serves Rovaniemi from Bristol, Manchester, London Gatewick and Milan Malpensa, KLM from Amsterdam, Air France from Paris, Turkish Airlines from Istanbul and Eurowings from Düsseldorf.

Kittilä will have new direct flights from Air France from Paris and Eurowings from Düsseldorf. Air Baltic will fly to Kittilä from Riga and Lufthansa from Munich.

Lufthansa also offers weekly connections from Frankfurt to Ivalo and Kuusamo.

Air Baltic's daily flights from Tampere to Amsterdam will improve connections from Tampere Airport.

In addition to the new routes and the resumption of connections, the frequency of flights will also be increased. Norwegian has already announced flights between Helsinki Airport and Kittilä Airport during the Christmas season and the ski holiday week.
