More sustainable ferry connections to Scandinavia from 2030

TT-Line is continuing to modernise its fleet with the order of a second Green Ship 2.0. Together with the first vessel announced previously, the two next-generation ferries will provide increased capacity, enhanced passenger comfort and more sustainable ferry connections between Germany, Sweden, Poland and Lithuania.

The first of the two vessels is expected to enter service before summer 2030.

More opportunities for tour operators

With the new Green Ships 2.0, TT-Line is responding to the growing demand for sustainable travel across the Baltic Sea. For tour operators, the additional capacity will create more opportunities to develop self-drive holidays, escorted tours and round trips to Scandinavia.

Sustainability and comfort combined

The new ferries will feature a modern hybrid propulsion system and are designed to support further electrification in the future, helping to reduce emissions and improve the environmental performance of ferry travel in the Baltic Sea.

Passengers can also look forward to an upgraded onboard experience with new cabin concepts, expanded restaurants and lounges, as well as an enlarged sun deck featuring a wellness area, children's playground and dedicated dog area.

With this investment, TT-Line continues to strengthen sustainable transport links between Germany and Scandinavia while enhancing the travel experience for future passengers.
