Strawberry Hotels takes over operations of Lily Country Club in Norway

The owners plan to greatly expand the spa area

Since its opening in May 2021, Lily Country Club in Kløfta has been part of Strawberry's collection of independent hotels in Nordic Hotels & Resorts. Under a partnership agreement Aker Property Group as owner has worked successfully with Strawberry. Strawberry and Aker Property Group have now agreed that Strawberry will take over the operations of Norway's largest hotel. Aker Property Group remains owner.

The hotel, approximately 40 km from Oslo, is located next to the Miklagard Golf Club and has 486 guest rooms, several bars and restaurants, 27 conference rooms with a capacity of up to 800 participants and a spa area, which is now to be greatly expanded. 

All 250 employees at the hotel are welcome to stay on after the transfer of the operating company to Strawberry. The takeover will have no consequences for planned events at the hotel.
