Scandic Hotels undergoes an in-depth renovation of Scandic Oslo City

Scandic has embarked on an extensive renovation of the Scandic Oslo City hotel. This, after the lease agreement has been extended for another 15 years. The renovation work is scheduled to be completed as early as summer 2023.

All 175 rooms will be completely renovated, as will the corridors. The reception and parts of the restaurant are also to be renovated. The hotel will be open for guests during the entire period.

The accommodation in the heart of the city of Oslo is spread over five floors and is certified according to the strict environmental requirements of the Nordic Ecolabel. Swan-labelled hotels demonstrate low energy consumption, use low impact chemicals and actively work to reduce waste, food waste and water consumption.

The renovation is intended to strengthen Scandic's presence in Norway's capital. Scandic Oslo City is located just a few metres from Oslo Central Station.
