Santa's Hotel Rakka in Kilpisjärvi combines luxury and Arctic landscape
Santa's Hotels, a family-run hotel chain based in Lapland, has opened a new design hotel in Kilpisjärvi. In Kilpisjärvi, the most extreme tip of Lapland, Santa's Hotels will build a new design hotel. The emphasis is on great design, eco-friendliness and the latest construction technology.
The wood-built Santa's Hotel Rakka is inspired by the surrounding Arctic nature and focuses on modern Scandinavian design and Nordic elements in its year-round hotel and restaurant. The new building complements the existing modern Santa's Chalets Rakka Resort and will open in February 2023.
Susanne Hulbekkmo, the development manager of Santa's Hotels, emphasises: “Santa’s Hotel Rakka will meet the demand for a high-quality and distinctively different accommodation in Kilpisjärvi. This new wood-built design hotel will perfectly complement our existing Santa’s Chalets Rakka resort. Our 22 high-quality chalets have had a year-round demand among both domestic and international guests, so we saw the potential for more high-quality accommodation in the area.”
