International buyers attending Matka Workshop Day 2027 will once again have the opportunity to experience Finland beyond the exhibition halls.

Matka Fair and Matka Workshop Day have appointed NordicMarketing as the official operator and coordinator of the 2027 Pre- and Post-Tour program. Taking place before and after the event, these tours give international buyers the opportunity to explore different regions of Finland, experience tourism products first-hand and build valuable relationships with destinations and tourism businesses across the country.

What are the pre- and post-tours?

The pre- and post-tours are professionally organized familiarization trips designed specifically for international travel professionals.

Rather than only meeting suppliers during workshop appointments, buyers have the opportunity to visit destinations, experience tourism products in their authentic setting and gain a deeper understanding of what each region has to offer. From accommodation and activities to local cuisine, culture and hospitality, the tours provide valuable first-hand knowledge that can later be translated into stronger product recommendations and travel programs.
