Our online sales event NORDEUROPA took place successfully for the fourth time in a row. As in previous years, the online event took place between Matka in Helsinki and (among others) ITB in Berlin. It was therefore the perfect opportunity for tour operators to follow up and prepare for trade fair meetings, but of course also to find new contacts and get to know them without having to travel.
This year, 1516 meetings were held during the two-day online sales event. Compared to the previous year, this is an increase of almost 19%, which we are very pleased about! Although the number of participants in 2023 and 2024 was comparable, over 200 more meetings were arranged.
This year, 130 people from 125 companies took part in NORDEUROPA on the supplier side. We welcomed participants from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia and, for the first time, Lithuania and Greenland. On the buyer side, 131 people from 105 companies participated. In total, buyers from 17 countries were registered for the event, with the majority coming from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
At our online sales event NORDEUROPA 2024, we have thus achieved a balanced mix of suppliers and buyers. Especially in comparison to many other sales events, where sellers are often in the majority and it is therefore much more difficult to arrange relevant meetings, we can achieve a high level of satisfaction on both sides.
