Eurowings announces a new direct connection from Stockholm Arlanda to Hannover for the summer of 2024

Eurowings is set to strengthen its presence at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with the introduction of a new direct route to Hannover (HAN) in the summer of 2024. This expansion is part of the airline's ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity between Sweden and Germany, marking a significant milestone in Eurowings' commitment to the Swedish aviation market.

Since establishing its base in 2022, Eurowings has steadily expanded its operations in Sweden. The addition of the Stockholm Arlanda - Hannover route brings the total number of destinations offered by Eurowings from this airport to an impressive thirteen. This strategic move aims to strengthen the aviation market in Sweden and reflects Eurowings' confidence in the region.

Elizabeth Axtelius, Director of Aviation Business at Swedavia, expressed enthusiasm for Eurowings' continued growth at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. She emphasized the importance of increasing connectivity, citing Eurowings as a key facilitator for various travel purposes, including business, leisure, and visits to family and friends.

Michael Haendel, Head of Network Management & Airport Relations at Eurowings, conveyed pride in extending the airline's network in Sweden. He highlighted the significance of providing Swedish customers with an attractive and affordable route network, connecting the north to the south of Europe and beyond. Haendel expressed Eurowings' commitment to further expanding its network, offering a diverse range of destinations from leisure to business.

Starting from May 1st, Eurowings will operate the Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Hannover (HAJ) route twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
