Finnlines expands services on the Malmö-Travemünde route following passenger growth
Finnlines is reaffirming its commitment to Malmö. After having introduced a new route between Malmö and Poland in April, the shipping company is now expanding its services on the Malmö-Travemünde route. At the end of June, a new restaurant opened on one of the ships serving this route, and the other two ships will undergo refurbishments during summer.
In the first five months of 2024, Finnlines recorded an increase in passenger numbers on the Malmö-Travemünde route in comparison to the same period in the previous year. As a reaction upon this, Finnlines is expanding its offer on the route for the summer. On board of Finnswan, one of the three ships serving the route daily, the restaurant Bistro Navigare offering salads, hamburgers and fish & chips was opened in the end of June. In total, 24 people can be accommodated in the restaurant.
On the two other ships, Finnpartner and Finntrader, redesigned lounge areas will also open during the summer. The new, improved, comfortable public areas offer space for max. 60 passengers.
