Finnlines makes minor timetable adjustments for day cruises from Sweden to Åland
Finnlines' day cruises to Åland have enjoyed great popularity since their launch and bookings have continued to increase this summer. In order to make the trip even more convenient for travellers from Sweden, Finnlines will adjust its timetable from 5 August.
The timetable change will make it easier for travellers from Sweden to make day trips to and from Åland. To allow for shorter stopovers and smoother boat transfers, departures from Kapellskär, north of Stockholm, and Naantali will be delayed, while departures from Långnäs on Åland will be advanced.
Marco Palmu, Head of Finnlines Passenger Services, notes that day cruises are much more appealing than overnight cruises, especially during the summer. One of the reasons for this could be that passengers want to discover both new ships in one trip. With the minor schedule adjustment from 5 August, Finnlines aims to make travel planning easier for its customers.
