More capacity for Levi and Ylläs – Eurowings strengthens its focus on Lapland as a winter destination

Eurowings is expanding its 2025/2026 winter flight schedule with a new direct route from Berlin (BER) to Kittilä (KTT). Beginning January 31, 2026, the flight will operate once weekly on Saturdays, with return service on the same evening.

This new connection makes travel to the popular ski resorts of Levi and Ylläs significantly more convenient for guests from Berlin and the eastern regions of Germany. The new service complements existing Eurowings flights from Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Stuttgart to Nordic winter destinations.

Flight schedule (UTC)

  • EW8272: BER → KTT | Departure 13:20 → Arrival 16:10

Lapland has become one of the fastest-growing winter destinations in Northern Europe. German travelers in particular value the combination of snow, nature, Northern Lights, and authentic Arctic experiences.

The new Berlin–Kittilä connection aims to support this trend further, offering tour operators and individual travelers a convenient and direct option to reach Finland’s winter wonderland.
