Viking Line picks up two awards at Finnish travel gala

Viking Line was awarded two prizes at this year's Finnish Travel Gala. The shipping company was named both "Sustainable Company of the Year" and "Transport Company of the Year".

Environmentally friendly technologies and innovations that improve the travel experience helped the shipping company win both titles.

Viking Line operates six ships in the Baltic Sea, carrying more than six million passengers and 130,00 cargo units every year. The company is Finland's largest maritime employer and has the most Finnish-flagged vessels of any passenger transport company.
