The British low-cost airline EasyJet is launching new scheduled flights from six European destinations to Rovaniemi Airport in the upcoming 2024/25 winter season. The Berlin - Rovaniemi route will be operated from 5 December 2024 to 29 March 2025, twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
In addition to Berlin, the airline is also offering new flights to Rovaniemi in Finland from Birmingham, Bordeaux, Geneva, Lyon and Nice. EasyJet will be offering a total of 17 international routes to Finavia's Lapland airports next winter.
"EasyJet will offer a total of 17 direct international routes to our Lapland Airports next winter. The number is very high for a single airline and reflects the international appeal of Lapland as a travel destination. Routes with regular scheduled flights, which Finavia negotiates with airlines and regions, are extremely important for Lapland's accessibility and with them, the record growth in tourism will continue next winter.” says Petri Vuori, Finavia's Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
