Tykkimäen Sauna, located by the Käyrälampi Lake, is a public sauna that is open to everyone each day of the year. You can swim in the lake during the summer time and try out ice swimming during the winter season. Our cafe provides good food and drinks. The sauna also holds licensing rights.
The distance from Kouvola city centre to Tykkimäen Sauna is only about 5 km. We also provide activities such as SUP boarding in the summer and tour skating in the winter.
Welcome to sauna, swim and spend time in the beautiful nature at Tykkimäen Sauna. Our sauna is a great place to meet local people and enjoy the Finnish sauna experience. We have separate dressing rooms for men and women.
We also rent out our premises and our saunaferry for private use. You can organise conference events, evening parties or other celebrations at Tykkimäen Sauna. We warm up the sauna on the sauna ferry on specific days during the week for FIT´s as well, so also individual tourists visiting the area have a chance to experience the sauna ferry in addition to our main public sauna.
The activities can also be organised as guided activities for small groups for an extra fee.
