Fine Scandinavian cuisine in the restaurants of Kalle's Inn

Kalle’s Inn offers local specialties, gourmet experiences that you will find nowhere else. It is our policy to prepare all food ourselves from start to finish, we always avoid using mass produced products that can be found in most venues. Many of our meals are based on local fish like, Baltic herring, whitefish, perch and salomon. On the meat side we concentrate on lamb, elk and reindeer.
The area around Kalle’s Inn is one of the richest sea buckthorn berry areas in the world. Additionally blueberries and black chanterelle is commonly found and is therefore also important ingredients in our kitchen.
Additionally to our à la carte menus we do offer some special menus like the "skargardsbord" which is a very popular buffet of local specialties. Why not try our special Kota menu, with soup of black chanterelle as a starter, salmon grilled upon open fire in the kota as main course and a crème brulée with cloud berries to round things up.

Relax in traditional smoke saunas and hot tubs

The traditional smoke saunas at Kalle’s Inn have become symbolic of the tranquility and relaxation only found in the Finnish archipelago and, contrary to assumption, is not filled with smoke, but provides a warm, humid caress which envelops your body and mind.
At Kalle’s Inn we have two smoke saunas. The smaller one is recommended for up to 10 persons and the bigger one for up to 40 persons. If you feel like a smoke sauna is too extreme we suggest you try our very pleasant wood heated lighthouse sauna. This sauna is suitable for up to 16 persons.
