Helsinki by Kayak

The stunning nature is the best thing you can experience in Helsinki. Kayaking is one of the best ways to experience the nature in an ecological and relaxed way.
Our daily 3-hour guided paddling trip will take you to the archipelago of Helsinki, characterized by clear water, rocky islands and sandy beaches.
The trip takes place at the Vuosaari Paddling Center and suits beginners and experts alike. The kayaks are easy to handle and very stable. We will provide you all kayaking equipment, also for rainy weather.
No previous paddling experience is required. The price includes transportation from the city centre of Helsinki, a professional guide, kayak, paddle, life jacket, spray skirt, water bottle, sandwich and juice.

  • Season: May and September: Saturdays and Sundays; June, July August: every day
  • Duration: 4,5 hours including transportation (3 hours kayak tour)
  • Participants: 1-50 pax
  • Minimum age: 15 years in single kayaks, 10 years in double kayak with adult, smaller children in private groups
  • Services: Transfer from City Centre of Helsinki to Vuosaari and back & professionell Guide; Meals (water bottle, sandwich and juice)
    Equipment (kayak, paddle, life jacket, spray skirt, water- and windproof jacket)
  • Starting time & point: Pick-up from Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art (bus stop) at 10.00 h
  • Optional: After the tour you can enjoy coffee or snacks at our seaside café.

Sea kayak and wild camp

Explore and feel the beauty of the Finnish archipelago. Just 25 minutes away from the city centre of Helsinki a whole new world awaits. Hundreds of islands, beautiful sandy beaches and rocky shores are the perfect setting for a kayaking adventure.

Product information: Sea kayak and wild camp

  • Season: 01.05.-30.09.
  • Duration: 3 days / 2 nights
  • Participants: 4-8 pax, guaranteed departures from one person. Bigger groups on request.
  • Minimum age: 15 years
  • Services: Airport transfer of transfer from the city center of Helsinki, 2 overnights, one at Hotel Rantapuisto and one wild camping on the islands of Eastern Helsinki, Meals (2 x breakfast, 2 x lunch and 1 x dinner); Sea kayak and all necessary equipment including paddles, spray skirt and PFD. Single kayaks are offered as standard. Two-person kayaks are also available on request. Tents, sleeping bags and mattresses
