Brändön Lodge and Pine Bay Lodge, outside Luleå by the coast of Swedish Lapland is presenting a very exciting autumn program for the coming season.
Biking and hiking are available as daytime activities as well as boat tours in the Luleå Archipelago. Hundreds of interesting islands can be reached for “island hopping”.

The trips are always combined with an outdoor lunch and the picking of berries and mushrooms. These delicious ingredients can then be used for an outdoor cooking class together with an outdoor chef. Perfect activities for foodies, couples or families wanting to get closer to nature during a relaxed stay in Swedish Lapland.

Besides that they also present a variety of Northern Lights products as well. See the below examples to get a taste of the offer you can find here.
In the evening, shortly before sunset, we set off from Brändön Lodge for a 3-hour walk through wonderful nature. On our hike through the woods and along the beaches of Brändö, our experienced guide will tell you more about the surrounding nature and wildlife. If the conditions are right, you can even see the northern lights! On the way we take a break to make a campfire and drink coffee or tea. Dinner is prepared outdoors by our guide and enjoyed sitting on reindeer skins under the dark sky. Feel the true closeness to nature here.

Northern Lights Aurora Photography Tour
The northern lights are a fantastic experience and on most people’s bucket list. For those with an interest in photography it is especially interesting to learn how to capture these dancing lights. You are welcome to bring your own camera and tripod (one that has manual settings) or with prior arrangement you can borrow a camera from us. We have, warm overalls and a professional northern light guide who will able to help you capture this phenomenon as well as give you an insight into the lights themselves and how they come to be.

The view to the north from Brändön has only low islands and the sea of the Bay of Bothnia. This makes for an uninterrupted view of the northern sky and if conditions are right the northern lights. To maximise this experience, we take a short boat tour at dusk out to one of the nearby islands. Here we will make a small fire on the beach, prepare some snacks and drinks and wait, hopefully, for the magical northern lights. A second option includes an extra hour and our guide will cook a fantastic outdoor dinner on the island.
