Restaurant Saaristo

Restaurant Saaristo has the most beautiful location on the Klippan Island in front of the South Harbour, in the city centre. One of Helsinki’s most traditional and impressive restaurants offers splendid views to all directions - to the sea as well as to the city centre. Saaristo’s white Art Nouveau style villa, built in 1898 by architect Selim Lindqvist, is part of Finnish culture heritage and important part of Helsinki’s scenery. The building has a vivid history and it has been a stage for unforgettable celebrations, lunches, dinners and private parties for 120 years already. Saaristo’s menu offers the best delicacies of Scandinavian cuisine. During crayfish season Saaristo is one of the most popular restaurants in town for a Finnish crayfish party.
