VR provides a fast and comfortable train connection "Allegro" between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. Travel time from Helsinki to St. Petersburg is less than 3,5 hours.
Scheduled stops in Finland: Helsinki, Tikkurila, Lahti, Kouvola and Vainikkala.
Scheduled stops in Russia: Vyborg and St. Petersburg. Border formalities are conveniently carried out on the train during the trip.

Services on board

Allegro train has a restaurant car, a sales trolley and a currency exchange on board. The train has seats for the disabled, children's playroom and seats for passengers travelling with pets. First Class tickets include a meal served to a seat and coffee or tea. Allegro train is a non-smoking train.
