Explore Oulu region from the sea. We visit an old fishing village. The snowmobile takes you through the forest to Ostrobothnian sea. Because the ice is very thick, it's safe to drive there.
The husky farm has tens of friendly dogs. There you can take a dog sledge ride or just take photos and pet the dogs. They love human touch. When you feel cold, you can drink warm juice.
Ice fishing is very relaxing. Fish are nipping and you feel it through the fishing line. Sometimes catches are enormous (especially in spring).
Let's go hunting Northern lights (Aurora Borealis)! We go to the best location in the evening and wait for the lights. The places are 20 - 30 minutes away from Oulu center.
While waiting for the auroras, we could also ski or do the snowshoe walk. You can get skis, poles and snowshoes from the guide. The prices include coffee/tea and biscuits plus transportation from and to Oulu. Options for grilling sausage and staying overnight in tent. Yes, even in winter!
