Wizz Air connects Vilnius and Turku from December 2025

The Hungarian low-cost carrier expands its network in Finland with another Eastern European destination

Starting on December 12, 2025, Wizz Air will launch flights between Turku and Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The route will be served three to four times weekly with Airbus A321neo aircraft. The flight time is approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Second new route this autumn

Following the launch of Turku–Bucharest in October 2025, Vilnius marks the second new route from Turku this autumn. Wizz Air has been operating the Turku–Gdańsk connection since 2008.

Boost for business and leisure travel

“We are delighted about Wizz Air’s expansion at Turku Airport. These new connections are a clear benefit for both local businesses and leisure travelers,” says Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President Route Development at Finavia.
