Visit Finland's more efficient framework to strengthen Finnish tourism

Visit Finland has restructured its organization to better promote Finnish tourism and adapt more effectively to market changes. The new structure will focus on strategic development, international collaboration, and sustainability.

New departments for targeted tourism development

As part of this reorganization, several core areas have been redefined. Visit Finland is now divided into three main divisions:

  • International markets and marketing: Enhancing Finland’s visibility in global markets and implementing targeted promotional campaigns.
  • Tourism development and sustainability: Supporting sustainable travel initiatives and assisting regional tourism operators.
  • Strategic partnerships: Expanding collaborations with businesses and institutions to strengthen Finland’s position as a tourism destination.

The revised organizational structure aims to further solidify Finland’s reputation as a sustainable and high-quality travel destination. Visit Finland is prioritizing eco-friendly tourism, innovative travel concepts, and the support of regional businesses to ensure long-term attractiveness for international visitors.

Enhanced industry collaboration

With this restructuring, Visit Finland seeks to deepen collaboration with both Finnish and international tourism partners. The new framework will facilitate stronger connections with tour operators, destinations, and other key industry players, ensuring optimal use of synergies.

This new structure will allow Visit Finland to respond more quickly and effectively to market changes. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and international competitiveness, Finland aims to further establish itself as a leading travel destination in Northern Europe.
