As of 26 July, vaccinated travellers must provide a negative PCR or antigen test when travelling to Iceland. The antigen test is offered in the departure lounge of many international airports and the result is available in about 15 minutes. The test must be taken no more than 72 hours before arrival in Iceland.
Unvaccinated visitors must still present a negative result of a PCR test at the beginning of their trip to Iceland. They must also be retested at the border and spend five days in quarantine before being tested a third time.
These rules will come into force on 26 July.
