Havila Kystruten's fleet of ships has been complete since the return of the Havila Pollux from the shipyard in Turkey. This means that all four of the shipping company's ships are now in operation in Norway.
The Havila Pollux will stay in Bergen until 23 August and then sail on the route along the Norwegian coast.
Until now, Norwegian shipping company Hurtigruten has been the sole operator of the Norwegian coastal service between Bergen and Kirkenes. In 2018, Havila Shipping AS won a tender from the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and thus the concession to operate the postal ship route with four ships. However, the launch was delayed time and again.
Havila Kystruten is therefore all the more pleased that the fleet is finally fully operational.
