A retreat you won’t find on any map has opened its doors. Octola II, the newest project within Octola Private Wilderness, has welcomed its first guests and is already considered one of the most intriguing high-end openings of the year.
Hidden deep within Finnish Lapland, the exact coordinates of Octola II remain undisclosed. Access is private-transfer only, leading visitors into silent forests and untouched snowfields where even the Northern Lights can sometimes be heard on still winter nights.

Octola II follows the original Octola I, a 700-hectare estate that redefined Arctic seclusion with wildlife access and some of Lapland’s clearest aurora skies. Octola remains the first high-end lodge in the Nordics with a negative carbon footprint, setting a new benchmark for eco-luxury travel.
There are no public rates or individual room bookings. Every stay is a full buyout, with itineraries tailored from scratch. Prospective guests must first request a place on the private waiting list. Only a small selection is invited each year. Those accepted will work directly with the Octola team to design their stay, arrange transfers and customize every detail.
