Baltic Princess of Tallink Silja undergoes extensive renovation and modernization

The Baltic Princess, one of Tallink Silja Line's flagship vessels, is heading to dry dock for a comprehensive upgrade and maintenance. During this period, the ship will receive not only technical improvements but also a refreshed design to enhance passenger comfort.

Maintenance and upgrades for an enhanced travel experience

From March 17 to March 30, 2025, the Baltic Princess will undergo major refurbishment at a shipyard. In addition to routine maintenance, key improvements will include:

• Technical upgrades to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption
• Renovation of cabins and public areas to provide passengers with an even more comfortable experience
• Enhanced onboard services and dining options to meet Tallink Silja Line's high standards

With this modernization, Tallink Silja is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable technologies. The goal is to minimize environmental impact and optimize energy consumption, further reducing the ferry's carbon footprint.

During the maintenance period, the Baltic Princess route between Turku, Åland, and Stockholm will be operated by the Galaxy. Passengers are advised to check for any potential schedule changes.
