New lifestyle property brings the Ruby brand to Stockholm for the first time

Ruby has opened its first hotel in Sweden with the launch of Ruby Frida in Stockholm. The new property offers 187 rooms and is located in the Kungsholmen district, one of the city's most well-connected urban areas.

The hotel occupies a renovated 1960s building and provides easy access to Stockholm Central Station, Stockholm Arlanda Airport and many of the city's key attractions. Ruby Frida draws inspiration from Stockholm's music heritage and creative culture. Its design concept reflects the city's vibrant cultural scene, combining Scandinavian aesthetics with references to the music and design movements that helped shape modern Stockholm.

The Lean Luxury-Concept

In addition to guest rooms, the hotel features social spaces, a bar and lounge areas designed for both visitors and locals. The property follows Ruby's "Lean Luxury" concept, focusing on central locations, distinctive design and streamlined guest services.

The opening marks Ruby's entry into the Swedish market and adds another international lifestyle accommodation option to Stockholm's growing hotel landscape.

Additional hotel capacity and new lifestyle concepts can create fresh opportunities for city-break programs and Nordic itineraries.
