The Radisson Hotel Group is continuing its growth strategy in Northern Europe and has announced the opening of four new hotels in Norway. Along with these additions, two Radisson brands – Radisson RED and Radisson Individuals – will make their debut in the Norwegian market.
The new hotels are planned for Oslo, Bergen, Ringerike, and Kristiansand – four strategically important destinations popular with both leisure and business travelers.
In Oslo, the “Radisson RED Oslo Økern” is set to open in spring 2025 – marking the first Radisson RED lifestyle hotel in Norway. In Bergen, an existing property will be rebranded as a Radisson Individuals hotel, a brand known for its locally inspired character and high-quality service. New developments in Kristiansand and Ringerike will feature a strong regional identity, combining modern amenities with authentic design.
With Radisson RED and Radisson Individuals, the group is introducing two distinct hotel concepts to Norway: Radisson RED targets modern, design-savvy travelers with a blend of urban lifestyle, art, and technology. Radisson Individuals caters to independent hotels that retain their unique identity while benefiting from Radisson’s global distribution and quality network.
With these additions, the Radisson Hotel Group will grow its portfolio in Norway to 20 hotels with over 4,500 rooms. The group aims to expand its brand diversity across attractive Scandinavian markets, focusing on both urban hubs and regions with strong tourism potential.
