The Norwegian Group has ended 2025 on a strong note. In December alone, Norwegian and Widerøe carried a combined total of 1.75 million passengers. Across the full year, the Group welcomed 27.3 million travelers.
Despite challenging winter weather conditions, both airlines maintained stable operations throughout the busy Christmas period. Norwegian transported 1.45 million passengers in December, while Widerøe accounted for a further 304,000 travelers.
Norwegian achieved a December load factor of 84.8 percent, marking a notable improvement year on year. Operational reliability also strengthened, with 99.6 percent of scheduled flights operating and 82 percent departing within 15 minutes of schedule.
Widerøe continued to improve punctuality and regularity and reached a new annual passenger record of more than 4.1 million travellers, underlining its key role in regional connectivity across Norway.
Norwegian has entered its most important sales period of the year with encouraging booking momentum. At the same time, preparations are underway for the upcoming summer season, which will feature the airline’s most extensive schedule in several years.
By strengthening route networks and focusing on operational performance, the Norwegian Group continues to reinforce its position within the Nordic aviation market.
