Norwegian will launch a new direct connection between Helsinki and Tromsø for the 2026/27 winter season, making it easier to combine Finland and Northern Norway in one itinerary.
From 18 November 2026, Norwegian will operate a new direct route between Helsinki and Tromsø twice a week throughout the winter season. The connection expands the growing network of Arctic routes and offers travelers a faster way to reach one of Northern Europe's most popular winter destinations.
For tour operators, the new route creates additional opportunities to combine Finland and Northern Norway within the same program. Itineraries linking Helsinki, Finnish Lapland and Tromsø become easier to design, giving travelers more flexibility when exploring the Nordic region. The new service also reinforces Helsinki Airport's role as an important gateway for long-haul visitors arriving from Asia and North America before continuing their journey further north.
The launch reflects a broader trend of improving connectivity between Nordic destinations. As transport links continue to expand, tour operators gain more options for creating winter programs that cross national borders and respond to growing demand for multi-destination travel.
