From 28 October 2025, bus passengers arriving from Stockholm will be able to disembark directly at Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. As a second step, the change will also include boarding passengers from early 2026, further streamlining public transport access to Sweden’s main international airport.
The update allows more passengers to use Arlanda’s new state-of-the-art security control and modern marketplace in Terminal 5. At the same time, the old security checkpoint and check-in area in Terminal 4 will be closed as part of the planned terminal modernization.
The terminal changes are part of Swedavia’s long-term investment in improving connectivity, efficiency, and passenger satisfaction. Swedavia operates ten airports across Sweden, all of which have been fossil-free since 2020. In 2024, the group reported sales of approximately SEK 6.4 billion and employed 2750 people.
