The new Icelandic airline Niceair is insolvent. The planned flights from Düsseldorf and Berlin to Akureyri in the north of Iceland will not take place.
The virtual carrier Niceair blames Hi Fly Malta for the failure because the leased aircraft is no longer available. Hi Fly Malta took the leased aircraft out of the fleet, which is why it was no longer available to Icelanders. Hi Fly Malte, on the other hand, believes that Niceair failed to honour important agreements. Niceair intends to take legal action against Hi Fly Malta.
