From the 2025/2026 season, Hurtigruten will be introducing Signature journeys, an upscale alternative to the traditional Original voyages along the Hurtigruten mail ship route. Under the Signature Voyages banner, guests can choose between the North Cape Line from Oslo and Hamburg and the Spitsbergen Line from Bergen. The Signature voyages offer longer stays in the harbours, an all-inclusive experience on board and a more intense experience of the Norwegian beauty.
Signature Reisen offers various routes: The Svalbard line from/to Bergen with MS Trollfjord allows guests to explore popular destinations along the Norwegian coast and Svalbard in the light of the midnight sun from May to September. The North Cape line from/to Oslo with MS Trollfjord sails to the southernmost and northernmost point of Norway between autumn and spring, giving guests time for excursions and activities such as dog sledding tours in 14 ports. From May 2025, MS Otto Sverdrup's Norway voyage from/to Hamburg will become part of the North Cape Line. Hurtigruten connects the Hanseatic city with the North Cape all year round. Highlights such as Bergen, Tromsø, the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape will be connected.
The expansion of the range of departures from Oslo allows travellers to enjoy more flexibility when planning their Norwegian coastal adventure. In addition to the Signature journeys, Hurtigruten continues to offer the original sea voyages along the classic mail ship route, which offer guests an authentic insight into daily life along the Norwegian coast.
