Havila Voyages has introduced a new digital service to help guests prepare for their journey along the Norwegian coast. The new webpage combines weather forecasts and an interactive packing list, allowing travelers to check conditions for their specific itinerary before departure.
The weather along Norway’s coastline can change quickly, with very different conditions between the southern and northern parts of the route. The new service provides weather forecasts for all 34 ports between Bergen and Kirkenes, based on the guest’s travel details and planned arrival dates.
The forecast data is provided in real time by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. In addition, guests receive a practical packing list adapted to the expected conditions – from sun protection and a sleep mask during the Midnight Sun season to warm layers, gloves and other essentials for Northern Lights experiences on deck.
Additional support for travel planning
For tour operators, the new service offers an additional resource when preparing customers for a coastal journey in Norway. Clear guidance on changing weather conditions can help set expectations and support guests in making the most of their experience along the Norwegian coast.
The new weather and packing tool is now available for Havila Voyages guests.
