Through a new multi-million project, called “Green Restart”, VisitAarhus and tourism companies are launching sustainable initiatives to enable guests to make environmentally friendly choices regarding transport, accommodation, restaurants, and experiences.
"Both Danish and foreign guests are increasingly demanding a more sustainable holiday, and we need to meet this demand. Our new green growth strategy and a number of initiatives will position the Aarhus region as a green destination," says Pia Lange Christensen, director of VisitAarhus in a press release.
