Iconic landmark Finlandia Hall in Helsinki offers a new experience starting January 2025

The renowned Finlandia Hall in Helsinki, a masterpiece by Alvar Aalto, will reopen on January 4, 2025, following extensive renovation work. The modernized congress and event center now features new amenities designed to appeal to both visitors and event organizers alike.

New features and modern services

In addition to its role as an event venue, the renovated Finlandia Hall offers unique accommodations, a bistro restaurant, and a wine café. These new facilities aim to attract a broader audience and enhance the cultural experience. Furthermore, a permanent exhibition exploring Finnish identity and the works of Alvar, Aino, and Elissa Aalto will open in the summer of 2025.

Focus on art and architecture

Through collaboration with the HAM Helsinki Art Museum, Finlandia Hall will also serve as a venue for contemporary Finnish art. This blend of modern art and Aalto's iconic design makes the hall a cultural highlight for both tourists and locals.

A sustainable landmark

The renovation places great emphasis on sustainability. The goal was to minimize the environmental impact of Finlandia Hall while preserving its functionality and aesthetic appeal. With its reopening, Helsinki sends a strong message promoting modern architecture, cultural diversity, and sustainability.
