Citybox is strengthening its presence in Denmark with plans for a new hotel at Islands Brygge in Copenhagen. The new property will feature 325 rooms and will become one of the largest additions to the Citybox portfolio.
Located in one of Copenhagen’s most attractive neighborhoods, the hotel will offer easy access to the city centre, Copenhagen Central Station, the waterfront and many of the city’s cultural highlights, making it an interesting addition for leisure and city break programs.
Copenhagen continues to see strong demand from international leisure and business travelers, while centrally located, modern and affordable accommodation remains limited.
For tour operators, the new Citybox Copenhagen will create additional accommodation options for developing city trips, short breaks and Nordic itineraries including the Danish capital.
The hotel will follow the Citybox concept, combining digital self-service solutions, functional design and central locations to offer comfortable stays at competitive prices.
Following the opening of Citybox Airport Hotel Copenhagen in Kastrup, the new Islands Brygge property will further strengthen Citybox’s presence in Denmark. Once completed, Citybox will offer more than 500 rooms in Copenhagen.
The project is still in an early stage, and construction and opening dates have not yet been confirmed.
