Sweden's Snälltåget takes visitors directly to the magical Christmas markets in Dresden and Berlin. Trains run from Stockholm via Malmö, Ørestad via Hamburg to Berlin or directly to Dresden.
The festive atmosphere of Berlin's Christmas markets begins as early as 27 November 2023, with Snälltåget trains running on 29 November, 6 or 13 December and of course over the Christmas and New Year period.
The trains leave Stockholm at 16:23, arrive in Malmö at 22:25 and in Ørestad at 23:07 and reach Hamburg at 05:31 or Berlin at 08:47.
On the days of 29 November and 6 December, the adventure departs Stockholm at 16:23, Malmö at 22:25 and Örestad at 23:07 before visitors reach Dresden at 12:05. Further journeys will take place on 2 and 9 December.
The return journey from Dresden Hauptbahnhof is at 20:44, arriving in Malmö at 12:05 and in Stockholm at 17:30.
