Starting March 30, 2026, airBaltic will once again operate nonstop flights between Vienna and Tallinn. The Latvian national airline had offered this connection from 2015 to 2020, before suspending it during the pandemic.
Flights will run twice a week – every Monday and Friday – using the modern Airbus A220-300. With Tallinn added to the schedule, airBaltic now serves two Baltic destinations from Vienna, alongside Riga.
“airBaltic, as the largest airline in the Baltic states, is an essential partner in connecting this region. The reinstated route to Tallinn is a strong signal of our successful cooperation,” says Julian Jäger, Member of the Management Board at Vienna Airport. The schedule is tailored to meet the needs of both business travelers and city break visitors.
Tallinn is one of Northern Europe’s most dynamic capitals. Its medieval old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the city is also known for its digital infrastructure and thriving start-up ecosystem. For travelers from Vienna, the route combines cultural heritage with modern innovation.
