A ll fans of the Finnish Capital are called upon to vote on the website Best-of-Helsinki. If you have voted by the 31st of October 2012 you will automatically take part in a special draw, where you can win a unique key to the city.
In this edition NordicMarketing would like to present the nominee from the category „Favourite Wintertime Activity“. Helsinki is amazing if you want to partake in winter activities.
Koitto Music Theatre
The Koitto Music Theatre’s concept combines both gastronomy and entertainment. For example you can enjoy a three course meal and at the same time there are several musicals on offer. In an area of approximately 1.800 sqm there is space for about 350 guests. Besides the theatre there is the Koitto-Complex and also the Koitto-Grill, as well as the Skumppaa Wine and Champagne Bar.
Lux Helsinki
Every year in January a three day event happens in the „Lux Helsinki“. In the surroundings of the Töölönlahti Bay and the Senate’s Square the year’s dark days are brightened up with lots of special lighting installations and pieces of art
The Winter Classic event is a unique ice hockey experience which takes place in the Olympic Stadium in February. Fans can support their favourite team at this open-air event.
Guided Tour around Suomenlinna
The snowy fort comes to back to life during this tour. You can discover the secrets of the bastion walls and old exhibits and historical reports about the times of war and peace remind one of the Swedish era in the 18th and the Russian era in the 19th century.
