On the country estate Maikkulan Kartano you will feel like taken back into the past. There are restaurant and premises for conferences, family celebrations, company days and weddings situating in the old ruins at the shore of the Oulujoki-River. Maikkulan Kartano is situated only 15 minutes from Oulu.
The farm: The farm consists of the main building with several small saloons, the smoke sauna, the stable with on big hall, the Lohikellari (salmon cellar) with sauna, the Frederikshouse, the rustic Korsu with sauna and a cabin for festive dinners by the open fire.
Activities: Sauna evening: Enjoy a relaxing evening with friends, relatives or co-workers in our smoke-, “Korsu”- or Salmon sauna, incl. 20 towels and shower gel. Drinks will be billed separately.
Conference package We may arrange meetings for up to 90 persons. Morning coffee and salty snacks, 3-course-lunch, afternoon coffee and pastry, refreshment, fruits. The conference package covers the facilities and possible equipment such as canvas, flipchart, data projector, W-LAN, stereo, microphone, service.
